Tax Season 2006

Ahhhhh!!!! I love the smell of coffee and W-2s in the morning. It reminds me of all the hard work that I have done all year, and haven't gotten paid for yet. I am not angry, however, that I have not received any of that money as of yet. I know that the money is being borrowed by all of my fellow Americans to help pay for a variety of public conveniences. I use many of these services myself, and I am grateful for many of them. Also, the whole plan helps me to save money to buy things that I really need or want. Here is a list of things that I plan on using my tax refund money on:

-A Wireless Internet Router
-A Wireless Stereo Receiver
-A Graphic EQ stomp pedal
-A Boss TU-3 stomp pedal
-A decent couch
-General maintenance on my car
-A new pair of shoes
-The rest of the money will go to a savings account.

Everything's Broken

So, today at work I broke a table by setting a one and a half ton Genie lift on it, I burnt one of my fingers on a light, tore some skin off of my thumb, and pricked my self with the very sharp end of a length of aircraft cable. I do not think those are the only things I have broken or scarred in my life recently. I do not care to elaborate any further.

Soul Accumulated

by Tim Stark

To try something new
To try something old
To try something sneaky
To try something bold
All this accumulated
Equals your soul.

With this in mind
Go out and find
Who you are
With all this in mind
Go out and find
Who you aren't

To try something good
To try something bad
To try something original
To try some new fad
All this accumulated
Your soul will add.

With this in mind
Go out and find
Who you are
With all this in mind
Go out and find
Who you aren't

To try out love
To try out lust
Knowing the difference
Is a must
These feelings accumulated
Your soul you can trust.

With this in mind
Go out and find
Who you are
With this in mind
Go out and find
Who you aren't

Try something quiet
Try something loud
Whisper in someone's ear
Holler out at a crowd
With these actions accumulated
You will always know how you sound.

With all this in mind
Go out and find
Who you are
With all this in mind
Go out and find
Who you aren't.

Knowledge comes from experimentation
Wisdom comes from humiliation
Love comes from risk-taking
Happiness comes from all accumulated.
